Updating my 6S iPhone to latest 16.5 ios

My 6s has not automatically updated to 16.4 and my bank app requires it now.

iPhone 6s, iOS 15

The last version of iOS that supports the iPhone 6S is v15.8.2. It is not listed in supported iOS devices for iOS 16.

If your bank application requires iOS 16, then it is time to replace your phone with a newer model, possibly from Apple's Refurbished site where you know you will get 12 12-month warranty and an option for AppleCare.

An iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, or iPhone SE 1 isn't capable of 16 or above; they require an A11 or better CPU.

Banking applications often require recent security protocols. Try accessing it through a web browser.
