Where is the "Save AS" option?

My Mac Mini will not allow me to do a"Save-AS" for my current open files. Ordinarily, when I click-on “save-as”, the box (containing every doc I’ve ever saved) pops up enabling me to save my changes to any folder I want. However, my Mac mini only gives me a "SAVE" option. I click on that & 1) I have no idea where it went, but 2) why do I have to find it & then rename/save/move to where I want it when I could simply do this from the start if there was a SAVE AS? What am I missing? Thanks.

Press the Option key while on the "File" menu. This will toggle the "Save As...." option to being shown.

FYI, pressing the Option key will sometimes reveal hidden menu items or even option buttons depending on the app. Very annoying in my opinion since you never know where something may be hidden.
