Missing Messenger threads on new iPhone 15

I got my new phone and everything transferred fine, but the most recent Messenger messages in that app weren’t showing up even tho I have them as part of the iPhone backup.

I figured out how to get them to show up on your new phone!!!

Using your old phone:

* open Messenger

* click the 3 lines at top left

* click the wheel to the right of your name

* click Privacy and Safety

* click End to end encrypted chats

* click Message Storage to ON

* select Save key in iCloud Drive (may automatically be deleted selected)

* You’ll see it did an immediate backup

* Now go to your new phone and repeat these same steps
