Portrait Lighting effects not saving to photo

When you take a portrait photo with the front facing camera there are several "lighting" options: Standard, Studio Light, Contour Light ,Stage Light, Stage Mono, or High-Key Light Mono. When I take the photo and then look at it in iPhoto those effects are not there. Why? How to I get them to save.
