Why isn't my Siri working after the iOS 17.5 update?

since the new update 17.5 and the one before, Siri does not work properly I have followed every step, I have to restart my phone in order to make it work, and then it works alright for a while and then stop listening to any voice commands. Also many other other technologies are there in the market, such as Alexa, and Google assistant which works much better it has been years Apple hasn’t improved Siri. The only change is now it works with add the word (hey) when you call Siri.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Siri after the iOS 17.5 update. There could be various reasons why Siri is not working properly.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check your internet connection: Siri requires an active internet connection to function. Make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi or cellular network.
  2. Restart your iPhone: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Try restarting your device and see if Siri starts working again.
  3. Check Siri settings: Go to Settings ➢ Siri & Search and make sure that Siri is enabled and all the necessary settings are configured correctly.
  4. Update iOS: Make sure that your device is running the latest version of iOS (17.5.1 is current and compatible). Sometimes, updating to the latest version can fix bugs and improve performance.
  5. Delete Siri History: You can try resetting Siri by going to Settings ➢ Siri & Search ➢ Siri Dictation & History and clicking Delete Siri & Dictation History.

Hopefully, one of those suggestions will help resolve this issue.

What does battery has to do with Siri or voice commands not responding from time, or when it works with majority of things you ask Siri it answers “I am not sure I understand, here is what I found on the internet” even a simple question.

Ps, I bought my phone new, and the battery hasn’t been replaced and has 89% battery life.
