Will Cancelling Apple Music Subscription Delete My Music?

Years ago I downloaded CDs of music into my computer which then went into my Apple library. If I cancel my Apple Music Subscription will I lose what was mine to begins with? I no longer have the CDs or that computer.

If you cancel your Apple Music subscription, you will lose access to Apple Music downloads. You shouldn't lose access to any music that you purchased from the iTunes Store or ripped from CDs.

Leaving aside the legal issues with having tracks you ripped from a CD which you no longer have, hopefully, you have a backup of all the music you have ripped over the years. Because, should something happen to your computer, they would all be gone. If you don't have a backup, I would back up all the purchased/ripped tracks before disabling the subscription.

You will not be able to access those purchased or ripped tracks on other devices once you have cancelled Apple Music.
