Notification banners/previews not popping up when phone is unlocked or locked. Only showing up in Notification Center.

Starting today, 6/6/24, I have not been getting any pop up notifications when receiving a text, email, or other message. So no banners when my phone is unlocked, and my phone isn’t lighting up with notifications when locked. They don’t vibrate or ding either. The messages only show up when I specifically scroll to Notification Center. I have checked all of my settings, DND, volume, and I have restarted my phone to no avail. (I have an iPhone 14 and it just updated to iOS17.5.1). Is anyone else having this issue and have you found an actual fix for it? Again, I have already tried all standard solutions and everything I’ve found on forums so far.

Help for Notification Alerts --> No Notification Alerts - Apple Community
To turn ON notifications selectively for apps, go to Settings > Notifications > Scroll Down to the App and turn ON notifications... Change notification settings on iPhone - Apple Support (IN)
Some apps have their own notification settings over and above the iOS notification settings: An example of Instagram Notification settings is given below

As I noted in my original post, I’ve already checked that all of those settings are correct. This has now extended into phone calls only showing up in the top left corner as the grey ringing phone symbol instead of actually ringing and taking up the whole screen. These texts and calls have been from people on my Emergency Contact list, my boss, and some others, so it isn’t specific people either.

Please, I am looking for help with this issue specifically. Please do not answer like this is my first day using a phone. I am college educated with an engineering background. This does not seem to be a settings issue at all.
