how do I clear safari history

I’ve turned off screen time restrictions, iCloud sync is off, and I’ve tried resetting my phone to no avail. What else can I do?

Can not clear browsing history on iPad I am unable to clear Safari's browsing history on my son's ipad. I have turned off Content & Privacty Restrictions, turned off Screen Time, stopped syncing Safari over icloud, there is nothing to delete from the Reading List, I have blocked cookies, I have restarted the device and I have reset Settings. Nothing makes any difference; the 'Clear History and Website Data' is still greyed out. I am told that the next step is to erase the device and start from scratch but, for obvioius reasons, I would rather not do this. Does any one have any other suggestions or is really the case that the iOS is so convoluted in design that a simple function such has this has become unworkable on ipads? Thank you in advance.

Delete Safari history with restrictions Please could someone help. My son has an iPad with restrictions, I would like to view and delete Safari History, the only way I have found is to turn off screen time but don’t seem to be able to just turn it back on after deleting the history. You get taken to the whole set up screen time again. Is there another way?

Does shutting down the iphone delete safari history? I am not able to delete my safari history with screen time and content and parental settings on so does anyone know if the shut down feature deletes the history on safari?

Hi, this is easy.

You can go to your iPhone Settings > Go to Safari > Tap on Clear History and Website Data > Close Tabs to clear all your website data.

Second, Go to Settings app > Go to Safari > Go to Advanced > Tap on Website Data > Remove All Website Data > and Select Remove Now to clear data for all the websites you visited.

The Clear History and Website Data button is grayed out. Do you know why?
