1. Check Recently Deleted Folder
Sometimes, deleted voice memos are moved to a "Recently Deleted" folder before being permanently erased.
- Open the Voice Memos app.
- Tap on the Recently Deleted folder.
- If you find your deleted memos there, you can recover them by tapping Edit, selecting the memos you want to recover, and tapping Recover.
2. Restore from an Older iCloud Backup
If your voice memos were included in an older iCloud backup, you can try restoring from that backup. Note that this will restore your entire phone to the state it was in at the time of that backup, which means you might lose data added after the backup date.
- Check Available Backups:
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups.
- Check if there is an older backup that might contain your voice memos.
- Restore iPhone from iCloud Backup:
- Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
- Follow the prompts to erase your iPhone.
- During the setup process, choose to restore from an iCloud backup and select the appropriate backup.
