I am unable to login into my MacBook Pro

Macbook pro will not log on. It stops after I enter the password, then stalls at the beginning of the loading bar.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

Try restarting your Mac in "Safe Mode": Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support. Determine if you can log in while in that mode.

Then, restart your Mac normally (not "Safe Mode") and try again.

Thanks for your response. Although still unable to log on, even in safe mode. Stops after user password is entered, at the beginning of the loading bar. Sometimes it restarts the loading cycle on its own. Probably will try again tomorrow.
