I am trying to automate a task so that if I click on a file it will automatically open up, copy all the contents and then open another folder and paste them in that folder. No one at Apple can assist with this.

You can’t paste the contents of a file into a folder. Can you explain in more detail what you are trying to do?
Also, what is in the file you are copying? There are actions that can extract text and possibly images.
Would you want your email address posted here where it will be archived forever by Google for any spammer to abuse? The Apple hosts make every effort to quickly remove any privacy-related information that is posted here.
