I am attempting to download Windows Migration Assistant v3.0.0.0 (Sonoma) and am receiving the following error...
"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below."
I tried on both Chrome and Edge and receive the same error. Thanks in advance.

I too had the same problem and found the solution on Reddit. Use a newer version of the assistant available on this link - Download Windows Migration Assistant v3.0.1.0 (Sonoma) - Apple Support. Posting this after completing migration successfully.

Right click the button and choose download rather than just clicking on the Download button. Then it can be launched after you download it. Perhaps to your desktop to make it easy to find.
Upon checking that link, it is trying to run an .exe file. As a guess, this is a program that would have to be run on the Windows machine and not the macOS device.
I have the same issue trying to download to my Windows 10 Enterprise PC. Right click only gets to same error message. Appears to be a software problem to me not individual computer issue. Any help most appreciated. Otherwise guess will have to check in with Apple Cares folks. Thanks, Joe Marrone
I also had the same issue but i was able to download the newer windows migration but I still can't migrate from PC to MAC. After I put in those 6 digits code it just continues to find the the mac but it just won't connect.

Edit......Right click and choose "Save link as". Or whatever choice is offered to save it.
