How to check if Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled for Carly OBD Reader?

I am trying to connect Carly OBD reader but the programme connection thinks Bluetooth and WI-FI connections are disabled. Is this my phones fault?

Hmm. When connecting this scanner to your vehicle, and with the ignition in the "on" position, in theory, the scanner's Bluetooth signal should become available. As such, do you at least, see the scanner in the list of Bluetooth devices nearby on your iPhone?

FWIW, I use the BlueDriver scanner with my iPhone. Works perfectly.

I'm assuming that you have successfully downloaded and installed the Carly OBD2 Scanner app on your iPhone and logged into the Carly service... correct? You then plugged the ODB scanner directly into your car, and turned on the ignition (but not started) your car ... correct? Finally, you tried pairing the OBC scanner with your iPhone ... correct?

... and did it pair? ... or is this where you are seeing the app telling you your phone does not have either a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection?

Hi

Yes you’ve got it down to a T. That’s exactly where it refuses to connect or even recognise wi-fi or Bluetooth. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the Carly app again with a replacement scanner. I’ve explained this to Carly and all they seem to want to do, is send a new scanner. Up to now I’ve refused. I’ve only had this one a week and don’t think thats the problem.
