I picked up a Canon Pixma iP3000 at a yard sale. My Mac mini 2012 running Catalina sees it but has not drivers for it. I'm looking for a driver that will be compatible with my Mac mini, and the iP3000 printer. Doesn't Apple have an archive of drivers? Where?

Mac: Macintosh computer with Mac OS 9.x or Mac OS X v10.2.1 or later, USB interface. Free hard disk space: 30 MB for Mac OS 9.x, 100 MB for Mac OS X v10.2.1 or later.
Your best luck would be Cups/Gutenberg...

Yes, for example, Mac OS Printing Fax (any version) Manuals and Downloads - Apple Support -> Canon Printer Drivers v3.4 for macOS - Apple Support (and the referenced article Printer and scanner drivers for Mac - Apple Support). However, an iP3000 does not appear to be listed. You could perhaps try another Canon iPxxxx series driver, but it would be completely experimental and should not be expected to work. You may have better luck with BDAqua's Gutenprint link, even if that would be experimental as well. As always, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files before testing anything.

Thank you so, so, very much. I down loaded the Cups/Gutenberg, unpacked it, and braced for failure. But what I got was pure delight!!! Thank you very, very much for your help. It works great, and doesn't take up much room.
