“NEW” may well mean new to you.
You have asked us to guess whether your newly purchased AirPods were in fact brand new in a factory sealed box, purchased directly from Apple or an Authorized Apple Retailer.
It’s a new one from an authorized reseller. What was not clear from “Coverage expired on NEW Airpods”?
Hello~ Take them back for a refund. Also we have no idea where you got them from as you left that information out of your post in the beginning.
