purchased a brand new apple case and scratches within the first week inside of the case and it’s just a manufacturing defect I spent £50 on this case and I’m super careful with all of my products so what now I have to go to the store and complain about how scratched up my case is due to it being bad quality…

Did you buy this from Apple within the last 14 days? If so, return it and get another one.
While all Apple products (to the best of my knowledge) have a one-year warranty, that warranty does not cover cosmetic damage. So, I suspect you won't have much luck with this. But have the folks at your local Apple Store take a look.

Get the receipt for that case and go back to the store where you purchase that case and do a warranty claim
