Forgot mini mac login password

So I have had this mini max for a while but never used it, I bring it out today hoping that I can see what’s on it but it won’t let me in at all. It won’t let me even make a new account or anything it just shows apple mini and a password option, I can’t click on any other accounts or press forgot passcode. There is no way of me logging in
