Recovery key, not key issued

Hi ,

I followed the instructions to set up a recovery key on my Mac. I went to account recovery, then I clicked on Manage under Recovery Key.. I entered my password .. then I got nothing else, no key.

Now when I click on manage all I get is this and I don't know what it means... while Recovery key is still set to off.. wasn't I supposed to get a key?

what am I supposed to do?
