MacBook Air 2020 Intel update

Hello, i seem to have a problem with my MacBook Air 2020 Intel as it is saying that it can’t find any updates and that I shall «make sure you are connected to the internet». I am therefore stuck on Monterey 2.5 and my internet connection is really slow on my MacBook even though it seems to be completely normal on my iPhone 12. I have restarted my router, reset my connection settings and I have tried booting it in safe mode but it didn’t resolve any issues. Do you have any other solutions or shall I bring the laptop to a Apple Store/ repair centre?

Version 12.7.5 is the most current version of Monterey.

You can try downloading a newer version, from the Mac App Store using one of the links in the following support document. A 2020 MacBook Air can update to the current macOS 14.5 Sonoma and will be able to update to macOS 15 Sequoia when its released later this year.
