If I accidentally hit command-L in Apple Mail, the message I had selected disappeared, and it's not in the trash or spam folders.

I often hit command-shift-L to flag a message, but if I accidentally don't hit the shift key while depressing this combination, the message in question disappears. How can I get such a message back?

MacBook Air, macOS 14.5

You have activated the email filtering mode. Press command + L again to exit the filtering mode.
