Pages documents vanished

Hi I have an iPhone SE iOS 17.5.1. I store some Pages documents on my phone. Some of these files have vanished. They were there 4 days ago but have gone. I have tried searching recently deleted but nothing is coming up. I am not sure if the iOS update has deleted them. Some of the Pages file stored on my phone are there but more recent ones have gone.

How do I recover lost Pages files on iPad after app removal? when I was in school a few years ago, I wrote all of my class notes in Pages. After I finished school, I did not use my iPad for a while. Lost files on new update of Pages My app updates without my knowledge and I have lost all my recent files. Everything from 2018- 2024 is stlll available. This is an app I use often and for years as been reliable through updates. I am thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. There is nothing showing in recently deleted. My files are gone. What are my options

I managed to find the files. I looked through every folder. They were in the Pages folder but didn’t show up on the recents page. I thought the browse function started looking at Pages document I did not realise it was searching all the phone. Sadly the search function didn’t show anything.
