Email content will not load in Apple mail on my Mac computer.

June 11, 2024 8:00am Apple Email Problem: Our iMac is running MacOS Monterey Version 12.7.5 Our emails open, the header instantly appears but the email content does not load. This happens daily all day long, many times over and over. This has been going on for many many months. There is the odd time the emails load content, it is rare and does not last. Never will all our emails have content loaded. When Apple Mail appears to be working it will only last for 1 to several emails. I read on another thread in the Apple Support Community where others have the same problem, there was a comment saying sometimes some security downloads will effect Apple Mail. It listed around 8+/-. We have none of these downloads and never have. Also, I read a solution is to click on "rebuild mail" found in the drop down menu in "Mailbox". I have tried this numerous time. I has never worked. The only thing that works "partially" once in a while, never always, is to "force quit" Apple mail. This will load the content in none, or 1 to a few emails periodically. I have previously reported this problem to Apple via an Apple Support Community thread with no response. I have also called Apple, a gent kindly tried to help, but admitted he didn't know what to do to fix the problem. Clearing cashe, checking for intusive downloads etc.etc., none of these things ever work. Perhaps you have a solution. We are by no means the only ones with the Apple Mail problem. I wish Apple would help please and thank you.

I also have Monterey 12.7.5. My emails loaded perfectly until today. Now I get a message at the top of my partially loaded emails stating "Your network preferences prevent content from loading privately" and there is a button on the far right "Load Content Directly". If I click on that it will load the full email. I have to do this now with every email; even ones that were already downloaded. I didn't change any settings on my network or computer.

Hello Victoria, I am getting the same message yesterday all day long. This morning it was not there for the first hour of my day now it is happening again but, not for all messages. At least by clicking on it, where available, some messages will load. I thought it might be happening because I went to Mail, Preferences, Privacy, then clicked on "Protect Mail Activity" (Changing the check mark from "Hide IP Address). I really have no idea if that is bringing up this "Your network preferences prevent content from loading privately"??? My Apple mail problem has been happening now for I venture to guess 9 months at least. It is annoying to say the least, when I get on the phone and need to discuss the info in an email, the frustration with Apple is endless. If you search the net the problem with Apple Mail is wide spread and it would seem no one is getting help from Apple. Other than this problem I have found them excellent. I did read, somewhere along the way that the problem is in Monterey and a fix from Apple is needed. I see there is new info here from BDAqua, I am going to have a gander at that. Perhaps we all should get on the phone and continue to call Apple until we get a solution. We are at their mercy.
