Replacement Apple Titanium Card - Does Activation Generate a New Virtual Card Number?

My Apple Titanium card is expiring in a month so Apple sent me a new card that needs to be activated. My virtual account does not expire until 2029. Does anyone know if the activation process will generate a new virtual card number?

No, they update separately and Goldman Sachs manages the virtual card in Apple Wallet. You don’t need to do anything in regard to virtual card and it’s information.
