I am looking into buying original homepod 1 from marketplace and I am wondering, how long should it keep getting new updates (especially after wwdc 24)? Should I buy original model for 90$ or would it be smarter to get newer model for 300$?

It would be wiser to get a newer model. I honesty don’t know if the OG will be supported with updates much longer. I think it might get iOS 18 which usually comes out in September. Be careful with marketplace. You have no way of knowing if this is one that doesn’t work until you run into problems setting it up.
