Ask to buy being sent to iPad instead of iPhone

If you are apart of family sharing and have ask to buy set up .. When your kids try to download an app you notice it is now going to your other device instead of your iPhone . Pull up setting and go to messages on your kids device and go to iMessage make sure send and receive is set to their phone number and not Apple ID . If send and receive is set to Apple ID that is why the ask to buy notification is only being sent to your other device .
