After updating my iphone,when i go into settings and then in the facetime and messages section.it only uses my email and not my phone number.my phone number only had the loading circle next to it.and now when people text or call me it only says my email instead of my phone number.please help?

The "spinning wheel" could be there for up to 24 hours. If, after that time, you don't see a checkmark next to your number, then it's time for further troubleshooting.
