Notes Issue / No Face ID

Is there a workaround that will allow my Face ID to re-engage?

this security system for Apple Notes is so frustrating.

Please no haters, especially about writing the password down. I have been through the wringer. I have a piece of creative work sitting in a note, and simply can’t rewrite it. I know I should have saved it, etc. but I didn’t and here we are.

if my face could unlock it, I could be in my merry way. No, I don’t follow the instructions and panicked and changed the password without unlocking them all first. Real life human here. I have been down a black hole rereading druthers of solves and nothing works.

all signs point to impossible. The old hack of using an old phone doesn’t work. FYI.

is hypnotherapy an option. I hate that my phone is protecting me from me.

I am only looking for a way to unlock it and then plan to copy to a new fresh note.
