How can I retrieve my information from a stolen iPhone?

My old phone was stolen from me and I have important documents and pictures of my dearest friend who passed away, how do I retrieve my information from this phone?

You cannot retrieve the information from the phone.

if you were synchronizing anything to iCloud (e.g., photos), the iCloud copies will still be on Apple’s servers, and you can connect another device to iCloud, or log into the iCloud Web interface, to retrieve things from there.

If you were not synchronizing things to iCloud, but you were making iCloud backups of your phone which included those items, you may be able to get that information back by restoring a backup to a new phone.

But anything that existed only on the stolen phone is gone. You don’t have access to it, and hopefully the thieves don’t, either.
