Third party tool instead of Apple Diagnostics

Hi everyone. I have just acquired a Macbook Air 11’’ - A1465 (EMC 2558) from eBay.

I wanted to run Apple Diagnostics to make sure there are no memory issues etc. It seems mac models prior to 2015/2013 had Apple Diagnostics corrupted by a firmware update. This is not fixable, not even by the Apple Store or authorised service providers. ASPs also have instructions jot go run Apple’s extended diagnostic tool.

Anyways, forgetting about the above, does anyone recommend any third party tool bootable from USB?

Thanks!

MacBook Air 11″, macOS 10.15
