I received an email in my hotmail account claiming a professional hacker has access to my IPad camera. I have a 9th generation IPad running 17.4.1 software. Is this possible and if so how do confirm this and stop the unauthorized access?

Do not respond to, or engage with, the message. Certainly do not, under any circumstances, attempt to contact anyone using the contact details that may have been provided within the message itself. Delete the message from both your mailbox and deleted mail.
