Hi! Does anyone have a solution to an app I installed just bouncing up and down on the dock then eventually saying app not responding? I’ve tried everything I can think of and it’s not working on any new app I install

It is likely due to something installed on your computer. Please post an EtreCheck report of the computer and we can scan it for issues. EtreCheck does not collect any personal info, without a report we can only guess for possible causes.
Uninstall the App and verify it will run on the version of Mac OS installed on the Mac. If it is supposed to run and does not then you need to investigate why not.
Possible causes could be things like having third party anti-virus apps installed.
you haven’t posted ANY useful information so it’s tough to troubleshoot.

it’s an app I’ve been using for years now. Photomechanic. There was a new version update so I reinstalled it and now it won’t open.
Ive tried other apps to and it won’t open. The developer tried to help me today and told me it wasn’t anything on their end. It should be working fine.
I’ve uninstalled and re installed multiple times and restarted computer.
even Apple support couldn’t figure it out and said it wasn’t a problem with them and it was the app. But it’s not the app because I’ve tried other ones too from different companies and none of them will open. They install fine but when I go to open they just bounce
