How can I fix the issue of declined credit card and PayPal payments

Every time I try to add my credit card it is declined my PayPal account also. I moved to the Caribbean last year and until a couple weeks ago my credit card and PayPal were okay. It means I can’t pay for extra storage for my photos and other things I need 😡 Why are Appel doing this to me it’s so unfair!!

It’s not “unfair” nor is “Apple” doing anything to you; they are likely simply complying w/ the local laws and regulations of your current residence.


Your payment method simply needs to be in your region of residence.

Also note that quite a few Caribbean countries do NOT support ApplePay.

I’m not sure what you mean by >I can see< because all I see is the screenshot of the decline from PayPal.

You’ll need to login to your Apple ID Account, with your account name and password, and review your purchases. If you find a charge that matches, you can request a refund right there using the built in refund request form.

Good evening, I changed my region and my bank is from Curaçao and it did work for a while but now it’s been declined. I’ve changed my region in my settings, I added a Mastercard which is working and what I don’t understand is that they have been trying to take money off my card without a subscription. I did try and get a couple 7 days free trial, but you don’t have to pay until the free trial has ended. As you can see I don’t have any subscriptions for apple here.
