MacBook Air M1 2020 can't screen mirroring

Hi, please help me. My MacBook can't screen mirror to Smart TV even though I have completed all the steps according to the instructions. My friend's Macbook is the same type and can do screen mirroring.

Please help me find a solution.. but don't suggest me to use third-party applications. Thank You.

FYI: the smart TV I use is SONY BRAVIA

New M1 Mac will not mirror, need adapter advice What adapter is recommended to mirror Mac screen to smart TV with HDMI? We tried Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, but the picture will not mirror. It flashed a few times on TV and that was it. I know the HDMI and TV work because they worked fine with our old iMac last night. I was told by Apple Support that the M1 Mac we bought with 4 ports (2 USB-c and 2 Thunderbolt) cannot stream to TV via WiFi, so we need to use wired which is fine. We just need to know what adapter is best to use since what we bought will not work. Many thanks!

Screen mirroring from mac to tv - black screen Hi, I have an issue with screen mirroring from my Macbook Air M3 to LG C2. My 2 other MacBooks don't have any problems connecting to the TV. An attempt results in a black screen on the TV and a switched resolution on the computer for around 1 minute. After the connection stops, pops up a window saying "Could not connect to [TV's name]". While the connection lasts, all normal options for the second screen appear in settings, like a normal screen mirror. I can't figure out if the problem lies on the TV's or the computer's side. Both devices run on the latest updated versions. I have no idea what to do, I will be grateful for any suggestions.
