How to get a duplicate receipt for my Mac if I lost it?

If you bought directly from Apple (online or an Apple retail store), they retain receipt copies online only for about 18 months. During the time you can access by logging into appleid.Apple.com and selecting your device.

As Leroy says, if you bought from a reseller, even an Apple authrozed reseller, Apple wil NOT have a copy. You must contact the reseller.

If you purchased your Mac from Apple, you can request a receipt from the retail location.

If your mac was purchased from an Apple Authorized Reseller, it is recommend contacting them directly for a receipt.

Apple does not retain that information, so you will need to research your payment method: bank or credit card transactions, for example.
