Forgotten password for an iCloud account not used on any device

I am attempting to re-set password for an iCloud account that I have not used as an Apple ID for any device. I currently have access to emails on y iPhone but have forgotten the password - is there any way to see what the saved password is on the phone? Alternatively any advice on how best to reset?
