Foreign Student Discount in Canada

I suggest you ask somebody at Apple. They used to just ask you to show a college identity card, but now I think it is going through an online database. If you are registered at a university in Canada I would think there would be no problem.

It is sounding like you are not planning on studying at a college in Canada but simply want to go there and buy a computer with an educational discount. Your question is still unanswered except to the extent that I think you need to contact Apple Canada and ask them if there would be issues. If they do insist upon verifying your validity using the online database, I don't know how international it is. Unless somebody here has done similar to what you want to do then nobody can answer your question.

For Mac computers, the free one-year warranty used to be internationally valid but, as of March 2023, service may be limited to the country where the device was purchased:

Current Warranty Document US/CA for Apple Computers now includes this language:

iPhones, iPads, iPods, and just about everything else Apple makes have always had that language.

AppleCare+ extended protection has always had the "may restrict" language as well, regardless of product.
