The wallet app on my Apple Watch ultra launches randomly. There doesnt appear to be any pattern, I'm not close to a touch pay reader and I am definitely not double clicking any of the physical buttons on the apple watch. It's very annoying having to dismiss the action not to mention it's conceivable I could accidentally pay if I happen to be close to a touch pay reader. Anyone else know what might be going on here?

Please do a forced restart of your Apple Watch. Please review the Apple Support article I linked below. A forced restart is more than turning your Watch off and on.

Yes, I noted that. We’ll keep an open mind on that for now. I don’t want to rule out a potential cause just yet. But let’s look at some other possibilities. 😀
Do you have enabled any Express Transit cards on your Watch? Please follow this path to check,
iPhone > Watch app > Wallet & Apple Pay > scroll down > Transit Cards > Express Transit Cards > what does your Apple Watch show?
Thanks for the suggestion to force restart. It's been two days and the wallet app has not launched again after the force restart. I'm cautiously optimistic it's fixed the issue. I'll update this thread if the issue comes up again. Thank you!

It's the Ultra 1 and version 10.5 (21T576)

Towards my fingers. I'm not accidentally pressing any of the buttons
I don't have any transit cards enabled. It says "None"
I’m glad to hear you’ve at least temporarily resolved the issue and I keep my fingers crossed 🤞 that it’s permanent.
