Show Dock on the bottom when another display is underneath

Hi

I have a macbook air m2 2022 and have it under my monitor, I notice when I changed the arrangement in settings to underneath, the dock now only shows up on the laptop screen, not the monitor which I want it to, I understand this is because the mouse can go down into the other display, but is there a way to turn it off? I really need the dock in the monitor.

Thank you!

You can change the position of the dock so that it is not on the bottom of your screen but on the side or above

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Desktop & Dock  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  2. Below Dock on the right, change the options you want.
  3. For example, you can change how items appear in the Dock, adjust its size, locate it along the left or right edge of the screen, or even hide it.
