iPad Calendar is showing incorrect time zone

IPAD defaulting to GMT+2 Time zone despite the fact that I am in Washington State. Current IOS 17.5.1 up to date. I have done the following and NOTHING has changed.

Settings>Privacy &Security>Location Services>System Services…Turn on setting Time Zone

Check to make sure IPAD is showing correct time zone in Settings…set to Cupertino which is correct, however my calendar IS STILL DEFAULTING TO GMT+2

Last resort: Go to Settings>General>Date &Time; Turn off SET AUTOMATICALLY; Change Time Zone (I did)

STILL DEFAULTING TO GMT+2

HELP!!!
