I cannot relink the files in question. I have not changed the original files in question, they are on the original drive. The only thing that has changed is the drives name. I was able to relink all other files on the drive except 2 of them. These two files are unable to be re-imported unless I change the name of the original file.......... Can someone please help me because this is increasingly frustrating.

Can you provide more details about the footage, the complete specs of the footage and what the editing workflow has been? Were the proxies created by another application?
Did you relink the original files? The error message is about relinking proxies.
You could always redo the proxies if necessary - and do you really need proxies, anyway?

I don't think a proxy is necessary as Luis says. Deleting it should resolve the issue.
I have tried both, my fault as that image was from the proxy attempts. I generally just use the original files, but no matter what I try I keep getting the same message
