Macos Sonoma—File Sharing Preference Pane is Blank

When navigating to General/Sharing the preference pane is blank and shows as 'General'.

I have repaired permissions in Recovery Mode and it's also not functioning in Safe Mode or when logging in as another user.

The system was recently recovered from Time Machine into an upgraded OS, but I vaguely recall the sharing panel was functioning since that migration.

I hope someone has successfully resolved this and can provide a direct solution.

To preserve the present state of this computer.

Suggest using a different External Drive and set it up in Time Machine

Do a full backup to that drive

The proceed with below

Would suggest restarting the computer in Recovery Mode

Choose >> reinstall macOS

This may or may not fix this issue

Use macOS Recovery on a Mac with Apple silicon

Use macOS Recovery on an Intel-based Mac
