Messages not synching between Mac and iPhone

I’ve been trying to sync messages for the past hour between my Mac and iPhone 12 it says iCloud is synching and when I send messages from my phone it is received on my Mac and when other ppl send messages from their phone I can see it on the Mac but when I send the message on my Mac it doesn’t come up on my phone not can I see older messages from after it stopped synching on may 15 what do I do ?

Messages not syncing from iCloud to iPhone 15 Pro I just set up my new IPhone 15 Pro and restored it from an iCloud backup from my previous iPhone 12 Pro. As everything was loading, I noticed that only my messages from one month ago to the present synced into my Messages app. I have messages dating back years (2017-2023) that have not synced. I have the setting turned on to sync all messages to iCloud across all devices and I have turned it on and off, signed out and signed back in to my iCloud account, and restarted the phone. None of these methods are working to get all my messages to sync onto the new iPhone. What else can I do?
