I have a site on which I posted a comment. When I clicked on submit, nothing happened. I have tried two different browsers, Safari and Firefox, emptied cookies and cache, paused Ghostery, and changed my password. I also emailed the posting section help for the site and was told that I should be able to submit my post. I have a MacBook Air. What else is left to do? What possibly can be the problem?

In Firefox, have you tried doing it in Firefox Safemode? Click on Firefox Help > Troubleshoot Mode. Then see if that works. If it does, chances are it's some add-on you have on both browsers.
In Safari, click on the icon in the right of the aggress field and choose “Reload without content blockers”

Many sites require you are registered/signed in...
Without specific reference and or link to "a site on which I posted a comment" nearly impossible to say more.

Maybe the site has an issue.
I did sign in before posting. My concern was that a donation was required to post. I emailed the
tech person, who said donations were not needed to sign in and comment. I am wondering about compatibility.
there are some sites I sign into on Firefox, and I cannot even locate the sign-in feature. If I go to Safari, I can sign in and the home page is more complete. Now, I think it is having sites not up to date as browsers and that is where the incompatibility is.
