iPad storage limit reached

My iPad shows the storage limit reached message and when I click on the tab and the window that pops up is glitchy. The screens shakes until I close the tab. Any thoughts?

Delete some stuff from your iPad.

Taking the message at face value it’s clear you need to do some deleting of data to clear up storage. Could also be responsible for the glitchy behavior but not sure.
