Burning a CD in Music and Sonoma doesn’t seem to work

I am trying to burn a CD in the Sonoma Music app from a playlist containing only DRM-free music files. One playlist resulted in an error saying that the burn could not be completed, although it seems like it did, the other has been in the drive for close to an hour. The drive sounds like a white-noise generator right now and has been that whole time.

Is this just me, or is burning a CD just not tested anymore in newer releases of macOS?
