When I connect my mac to my iPhone hotspot it shows that there is a hidden network

This has only recently statred and I cannot for the life of me work out why it is happening.

Trouble shooting steps so far:

Reset network settings;

2. Forgotten network and reconnected;

3. Fully reset the iPhone;

4. Played arround with the DNS settings;

5. Removed any VPNs that were running.

No Idea what is happeing. Screenshot of issue below.

The Hidden (wifi) Network is the one your phone created.

You need to look into the hotspot settings on your phone.

You need to Allow broadcast of the SSID number for a wifi network to be NOT hidden.

Try hiding your network and logging into it.

You will have to remember its SSID - Jack iPhone and password - of course.

I suspect those are legends for status.

Green dot indicates connected.

Yellow triangle indicates you have connected to a hidden network.
