Changing “avoid highways” setting in maps while driving

Will Siri be able to change navigation settings like “avoid highways” in Maps using Carplay, while driving, under IOS 18? Will it work if you do not have an iPhone15?I realize that causes a recalculation of the route, but Siri can calculate routes when I am driving.

I haven’t seen any information at that level of detail about iOS 18. iOS 18 can be installed on any iPhone XR or later (essentially all iPhones that can run iPhone 17), not just on iPhone 15. However, some features (AI, specifically) will only work on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
