power draining while plugged in and using

Ipad Generation 6 is slower charging and used to be able to charge and use and power would stay at 100% - use same cord for iphone with no issues - any suggestions to fix this. Some have said charge pins in ipad could be little bent? Ipad on way out? Still useable but frustrating
