try these steps:

1. Check Voicemail Settings: Go to Settings > Phone > Voicemail and ensure notifications are enabled.

2. Restart Your iPhone: Restart your device to refresh the system.

3. Update Carrier Settings: Go to Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.

4. Check Visual Voicemail: Call your voicemail manually by pressing and holding the 1 key on your phone app keypad. This can sometimes reset the notification system.

5. Network Reset: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset your network configurations but won't delete your data.

6. Contact Your Carrier: Sometimes, the issue might be on your carrier's end. Contact them to ensure your voicemail service is set up correctly.

If the problem persists, contacting Apple Support might be necessary.
