Printing Numbers spreadsheets unsatisfactorily

On MacBook Air (2017)with macOS Monterey v. 12.7.5 updated currently, inputs to cells are printing only in the negative monochrome, which is to say that data in shaded cells appears on the printed page only in white and data in unshaded cells is not visible at all on the printed page. Data in cells is visible as usual in Print Preview and Preview windows.

If it prints to PDF and is viewable in Preview correctly then it doesn't sound like it is a problem with Numbers, it sounds more like a problem with the printer driver not interpreting it correctly for your printer. It has been ages since I had a printer problem. Often the solution was to go to the manufacturer website for the printer, download the most recent driver, and either reinstall the printer using the new driver or simply update the driver. But I don't know how all that works these days or if it is even a thing to be done anymore. Or your could start by deleting your printer and reinstalling it.

If it is a single page, try saving the PDF as a JPG in Preview then printing the JPG. That could be a workaround until you figure it out.
